The stores that sell equipment related to DIY tanks are always changing. The places I bought from in 2013 have been bought out or gone out of business. These days, Salt Water Aquarium covers quite a bit of ground and is currently still in operation. Their filtration offerings are mammoth – make sure to get a mag drive pump instead of one with a rubber seal and ensure with customer service that there will be no breakdown of the pump due to saltwater eating away at any sort of seal.

Discount Salt Pools is sure to have pumps that wont salt-rot. Their price for pump and filter packages is out of my ballpark.
